Our advocacy with Government and politicians in the interests of homeowners works because of our membership. The more members we have the more seriously we are recognised and the more power we have to bring about the changes we see as necessary to better protect all homeowners.
Site Agreements can be complex documents and trying to sort out the associated regulations in the Manufactured Homes (Residential Parks) Act 2003 (the Act) can be difficult. Many current owners and prospective buyers are not sure how to interpret Site Agreements, what sort of issues to look out for, how sections of the Act affect them and what to do when complications arise.
Our advisory team is always available to provide clarification and assistance. We’ll point you in the right direction.
As a personal member of ARPQ, we’ll be able to ensure you understand your rights as a homeowner and resident.
We are closely familiar with the current legislation and amendments so you don’t have to be. Our team will offer advice and clarification regarding the various obligations owed to you by the park owner or manager.
Liaising, negotiating and dispute resolution can prove to be challenging at best and stressful at worst. We help our members communicate with relevant park owners regarding any and every problem that arises.
While we certainly hope that disputes can be avoided, if you need advice about the processes involved, we are here to help. If necessary, we can guide you, step by step, through the complex procedures leading to and including the QCAT tribunal process.
When our members undergo site rent reviews, they’re able to turn to us for advice and support regarding any negotiations. This provides much needed and appreciated clarification and confidence during reviews.
