BREAKING NEWS –
IMPORTANT RESIDENTS SURVEY AND ISSUES DISCUSSION PAPER PUBLISHED

In section 18 of its Queensland Housing and Homelessness Action Plan 2021–2025 the Government committed to address concerns that residents in residential manufactured home parks have about Site-Rents and the Sale of Homes.  The Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy (DCHDE) will be consulting widely with homeowner, former homeowners and key stakeholders like the ARPQ in order to determine the sort of reforms to legislation and regulations are needed in order that this commitment is met.

In the first round of these consultations the DCHDE is asking homeowners and former homeowners to complete a survey and all stakeholders to respond to an Issues-Discussion paper which seeks to identify the problems and concerns that need to be addressed.
